This policy explains how Equity & General Financial Services Ltd ("Equity & General", "E&G", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use the Altro partner website or submit an enquiry or download request through it. Altro is a partnership programme provided by Equity & General.
1. Who we are
The data controller is Equity & General Financial Services Ltd, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA No. 474163), registered in England and Wales (company no. 3314593), registered address 2 Charterhouse Mews, London EC1M 6BB.

2. What information we collect
When you complete a form on this site (to register your interest or to download the partner guide), we collect the information you provide, which may include:
- your name;
- your firm's name;
- your work email address;
- your phone number (if provided);
- the approximate size of your client base (if provided); and
- the fact and date of your consent to be contacted.
We do not knowingly collect any special category data through this site, and you should not submit client or third-party personal data through these forms.
3. How and why we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- respond to your enquiry about the Altro partnership;
- send you the partner guide you requested;
- arrange and follow up on partner conversations and demos; and
- keep a record of your contact and consent.
Our lawful basis for processing is your consent (which you give by ticking the box on the form) and our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries about the programme. You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 6).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- our website and form provider, Netlify, which processes form submissions on our behalf as a data processor; and
- service providers who help us operate the programme, and regulators or authorities where we are legally required to do so.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and consent records only for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and for our legitimate business and regulatory record-keeping needs, after which they are securely deleted. (Specific retention periods to be confirmed by E&G.)
6. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email andy.jackson@eandgfs.com.
7. Cookies
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not run third-party analytics. It loads a web font from Google Fonts to display correctly. If cookies or analytics are added in future, this policy and a cookie notice will be updated accordingly.
8. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
